One of the very first things that impressed me about the Opera GX browser was how easy it was to install and set up. Opera’s GX browser may not be exciting enough to pull you from your current favorite, but its slim form factor and ancillary functionality are at least worth checking out, especially if you consider yourself to be a gamer. Yes, the GX browser is outfitted with several bells and whistles whose overall usefulness is debatable, but it’s also a functional and versatile browser alternative that’s perfect for people with lower-end machines. In some regards, Opera’s new GX web browser, which the company touts as the first ever “dedicated gaming browser,” could be labeled as yet another gimmick, but that would be an unfair oversimplification.
